Although the history of Naples is centuries old, it wasn’t until the early 1900’s that is became a small but desirable winter retreat for wealthy northerners. WWII brought hundreds of servicemen to train combat pilots at the Army Air Field, now known as the Naples Airport. Many of those airmen returned to Naples after the war and the 50’s-60’s brought about a real wave of growth. Now Naples is considered one of the most desirable locations in all of Florida with it’s beautiful sugar white sandy beaches, its wonderful parks and amenities, amazing golf courses, its rivers and bays and fantastic real estate in every imaginable design and style.
